The Dillinger Escape Plan
The Dillinger Escape Plan is a band that combines grindcore genres like free jazz and industrial, with different variations in timing and an inspired use of the guitar directly to jazz. They are well known for the intensity of their compositions, the strong dose of violence of their style and the effectiveness of their shows. The group's name refers to the criminal John Dillinger, which, in their very first concert, they were made to feel the sample with his voice.
Were judged by the magazine New Musical Express as "the most dangerous group of the Earth", while the magazine Kerrang! He has labeled them as "the best live bands on the planet."
